During the Rental Period, you benefit, at no extra cost, from a 24-hour assistance service associated with the use of the Vehicle.
Please note that in the event of damage caused by You and / or any driver or as a result of using the wrong fuel or the loss / damage caused to the Vehicle keys, as well as in the event of a puncture or tire damage, You must pay the following costs:
Lost or broken keys: EUR 200 to 350;
Wrong fuel, although without causing damage to the mechanics or engine: EUR 380 to 500, already including a trailer (plus the missing fuel);
Puncture and / or damage that destroys only the tire: EUR 130 to 300 + administrative fee of EUR 30 per claim.
If you want to cover this type of occurrence, you can subscribe to the Assistance in Travel Plus service, the amount of which is specified in the Recommended Cost Tariff.
The vehicle’s technical assistance service includes:
Removal of the damaged vehicle;
Shipping and payment of towing costs for a vehicle that has not been involved in an accident or has failed and cannot be repaired on site;
Find a replacement vehicle within a 50 km radius, in case the Vehicle cannot be repaired on site (NB: the Rental Agreement remains in effect until the last rental day originally agreed);
Transport of beneficiaries to the rental station where the replacement can be made;
If no replacement vehicle is identified;
Hotel room with breakfast for one night or transportation by taxi or train to the place of residence or destination or departure in Portugal for non-residents. This benefit is provided up to the amount of EUR 60 per beneficiary.
This vehicle technical assistance service excludes:
Any incidents or damage caused by taking part in sporting events, rallies or any other type of competition;
Commercial vehicles rented on an ISLAND and that went to another island.
